FOOD ASSISTANCE

Our monthly mobile food pantry serves Washington County (Texas) residents who qualify through the Texas Commodity Assistance Program. The below income guidelines remain effective through June 30, 2021.

Number of household members = 1; income should not exceed $23,606 (annually), $1,968 (monthly) or $454 (weekly)

Number of household members = 2; income should not exceed $31,894 (annually), $2,658 (monthly) or $614 (weekly)

Number of household members = 3; income should not exceed $40,182 (annually), $3,349 (monthly) or $773 (weekly)

Number of household members = 4; income should not exceed $48,470 (annually), $4,040 (monthly) or $933 (weekly)

Number of household members = 5; income should not exceed $56,758 (annually), $4,730 (monthly) or $1,092 (weekly)

Number of household members = 6; income should not exceed $65,046 (annually), $5,421 (monthly) or $1,251 (weekly)

Number of household members = 7; income should not exceed $73,334 (annually), $6,112 (monthly) or $1,411 (weekly)

Number of household members = 8; income should not exceed $81,622 (annually), $6,802 (monthly) or $1,570 (weekly)

For each additional person, add $8,288 (annually), $691 (monthly) or $160 (weekly).

Use your gross income to determine eligibility. Farmers and self-employed households qualify based on net income (total income minus expenses). A household with unexpected and unavoidable expenses of a household crisis may qualify for temporary, emergency food assistance without regard to the household's gross or net income.

Other ways to qualify include individuals who are receiving one or more of the following types of assistance:
Temporary Assistance To Needy Families (TANF / AFDC), SNAP (Food Stamps), SSI, Medicaid, CHIP or WIC. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
